2004 Renault Laguna noise coming from 5th&6th gear?

2004 Renault Laguna Engine Size unknown Front Wheel Drive Manual 65000 miles

have a laguna1.9dci, started to hear noise from gears when pressing clutch down it goes away, is anything I can do to fix it, is it the gearbox.

Sounds like the clutch relaese bearing is rattling. And needs replacing !

Yep I agree with DAVE H, the throwout bearing needs replacement.
