I HAVE A 2003 1.9DCI AND WHEN CRUISING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS I LOOSE ACCELERATION AS THOUGH I HAVE LOST ALL POWER UNTIL I PUT MY FOOT DOWN IMMEDIATELY AND THEN IT INCREASES IMMEDIATELY

have your mechanic check the throttle position sensor .. and read the cars computer for any faults showing ?
