my laguna cut out whilst travelling along. both the stop light and the engine pictre with stop writen in it started to flash. when the aa came and plugged in their computer to it it came up with 3 codes

it had no explanaition as to what these faults were tho and i still need to get the car repaired.where can i get these fault codes diagnosed as to what they are so y local garage know where to start

The AA man should have been able to explain the codes ? most good garages wiil have a diagnostic computer to diagnose the faults and repair the vehicle ?
