2001 Renault Laguna Key card

I have to push and hold my key card into the slot to get the ignition on and then press the starter button, once started it is OK. Also the key card is very temprament when clicking to unlock the doors.
Please help.

Replace the battery in the card for the door lock problem .. the card slot needs to be repaced as it is not locking the card in place .. a common fault on this vehicle !
