2000 Renault Laguna manual

a belt snaped,and has affected the power steering,and car over heated,battery light came on,and stop icon light,the car still drove had no choice to get me home there was water all over engine but water tank want empty it was still full but extremly hot what is this belt called

Alternator drive belt .. some people refer to it as a serpentine belt !
