1999 Renault Laguna 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Do you have any tips to release the bonnet when the handle does nothing? Suspect broken cable.. I figured that a slim strip of metal could be inserted above the headlights but so far, no luck.

You will need to remove the grill .. a tricky job without breaking it .. try to reach cable from underneath vehicle ..have someone push up and down on bonnet whilst you pull the lever .. sometimes they just get jammed up !!
