1996 Renault Laguna Only blows cold air

the heater in the car only blows cold air i have topped up thewater bled it through felt the inlet and outlet pipes to the matrix which were warm any ideas? it isn't loosing any water and the tempreature gauge always sits between 1/4 and 1/2 way up.

replace the thermostat .. sounds like it is not working correctly .. if the heater core/matrix is only getting warm it may br plugged and needs flushing through ?
