1995 Renault Laguna Renault Not going in Reverse Gear

Transmission problem
1995 Renault Laguna 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Last night something happened to her and now she is not going back.

When I put in Reverse gear it is not moving at all. When I put in Neutral it is going forward. All other gears are working fine.

Please help me

have the transimission and linkages inspected at a repair centre .. it could just be the selector needs adjustment !
