1999 Renault Espace clutch problem

car isstuck in reverse, clutch cable hasnt broke, gear stick is loose and cant get car out of reverse

get under the hood/bonnet and try moving the linkages on the top of the gearbox to get the vehicle into neutral .. you have to get the link arm on top of the gearbox in the centre point ..it is trial and error to find neutral .. then check all the likages from gearbox to gearstick ... usually one of them has popped off .. let me know
