My gearbox broke down today (totally), and I need a used one. As Renault Espace is not a very common car it can be difficult to get a used one. I have heard that same motor is used for Renault Laguna. Gan anyone confirm this, and also if the gearbox is the same?

you would need a gearbox with the same part number ..and you have the same ratio gearbox .. but drveshaft fitting/length may be different !!
