2006 Renault Clio Timing Belt

Hi iam Driving a Clio sports 2.0 recently when i drive 120km if leave a acceleter on that speed it's making some noise from engine,Tyre's are new I been in to the garage were they said time to change a timingbelt,racer,spark plug's coil, if dont change a timing belt is it any harm for car?
Please can u help me :)

manufacturers recomended timing belt change is 60,000 miles .. but the belt can break at anytime causing engine damage .. If the garage feels the belt is making the noise I would replace it ASAP ..
