Have exhaust emission light on, have had a new wiring loom fitted, spark plugs and coil, ecu tested and no fault found. Garage had put some injector cleaner in and this solved the problem for a couple of weeks. Can we reset the light or will it need to go to a dealer. Want to try running the car on super unlead and not cheap supermaket fuel. (Whats your thoughts on this).

The vehicle will need to be plugged into a computer to erase the MIL .. this doesn't need to be done at a dealer ..most shops/garages have the ability to do this ... the high grade fuel may/may not help... it's a trial and error issue ... it could be the sensor is the fault and needs replacing .. try the fuel first if not clean/replace the sensor .. also bear in mind the MIL is related to all sensors and systems on the vehicle hence the light may be on for a reason other than emmissions or indirectly related to emmissions have the vehicle read for the fault code before just erasing it ??
