Something is touching the timing belt and it ripped it off on the side. Could you please advice if it is ok to drive 120 miles?

If it is definately the TIMING belt do not drive the vehicle untill repaired ... you could do serious damage to the engine if it breaks !! if it is the belt you can see without removing any plastic cover's then it's the serpentine belt and you can drive the vehicle, but if it breaks you will lose alternator and power steering function ... so I would advise having it repaired !! hope this helps
