2001 Renault Clio Clock & radio display lights

2001 Renault Clio 4 cyl Manual

I bought my Renault Clio Expression about 9 months ago at a car auction. But the display lights for the clock and radio are very, very faint during daylight, and can't be seen at all in the dark/at night time. How can this be fixed please?

This cannot be fixed, the LCD screen driver inside the radio has gone bad the radio must be replaced.
