Hi,

I have had my clio sport since birth and I'm very upset that the clutch went with no warning and then my mechanic discovered that the CV shaft was worn and also needed replacing (the splines were totally gone - apparantly very unsual!)

Could this just be a coincidence? I have no idea if these 2 problems are related so any feedback here would be great!

Other problems include:

- Hazard light button stuck in (not good when you have broken down)

- The boot button is also stuck and will not open

- My speedo cuts in and out. For e.G. I am driving along doing 80 km, and then I'll feel a 'power pull' (don't know how else to describe it sorry) and then my speedo says I'm doing 0km!

If anyone can help, that woudl be great!

The clutch and the driveshaft going together could be related if the shaft was under load too much (ie.) Excessive wheel spinning. I have seen this stripping of the shaft a few time on this model and feel it could be a design error?. Replace the hazard switch and replace the boot switch or check the wiring !
