Noises problem
1999 Renault Clio 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Manual

my car has been "rattling" for some weeks now. a mechanic told me that the joint between the Catalytic converter and exhaust is rusty and that the exhaust will become loose and fall off.. unfortunately i cannot get this replaced until next week. the rattling is only bad when i am driving at low speed, but i have read that this could be poisioning me with carbon monoxide... is this possible?? the exhaust is not any louder than usual and is not blowing etc, the only noise is the rattle.

also after having my timing belt replaced (after it snapped) my oil light flickers after the engine heats up... why would this be??

Thanks for your help :)

replace the exhaust when you can
!! you are not getting poisoned any faster ... check or replace the oil pressure sensor and oil level !!
