Hi,

I have a 1998 Mk 2 1.2 clio.

Just recently i have found that when i drive above 40mph i get a loud whiring noise. I cant pin point where this noise is coming from, but my front brakes have worn down to the metal at the same time. Could these be related and what could the noise be?

have you replaced the brakes ?? and if yes are you still gettin the noise ... ??
