1998 Renault Clio 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

i have a renualt clio 1998 1.4 and when i was driving it on the motorway it started juddering and popped out of gear and stalled. Then when we tried to get it started again it was really hard to do. This took about 15-20mins. any help would be grateful for

start by scanning the cars computer for fault codes .. replace the crankshaft position sensor
