1997 Renault Clio the car makes a bad noise etc

when i try to put the car into gear, the car made a realy bad grinding noise from the front drivers side (maybe the wheel part). all the danger lights come on. The battery first then the rest and it seams so shudder as if its going to stall but it doesn't. i had to crawl home last night in 2nd gear. i did bump it up on a curb earlier that day.

It could be the driveshaft is coming adrift from the wheel .. you need to have this checked asap .. do not drive the vehicle again it will only do more damage ..
