Having to replace my transmission. What's the easiest way and what tools will I need?

You may find this video helpful, it is not your exact vehicle but the principles are the same for most vehicle.. the 2 top transmission to engine bolts are the hardest but are removed in the same way the video describes..

how do you get to the 3 top bolts that release the motor from the transmission. i am replacing engine but did not want to pull tranny. do you have to remove both together then separate or is there a secret jaguar trick. thanks, bill

Hi there,
If you remove the tail shaft, cross member and selector, you can drop the back of the trans down enough to access the 3 top bolts with a long extension.
