Which way do I turn to remove the transmission converter bolts?

I've been trying for 3 days to remove the bolts from the transmission converter. Which way do I turn to remove the bolts?

Hi,

The torque converter bolts are a standard thread. In other words, they should loosen by turning them counterclockwise. Is that what you are doing?
