I have the vehicle listed above, 2 door hatchback, with the rear speakers in the side panels. Not by the hatch cover. I have seen nothing on how to remove the panels to get access to the speakers.

Hello,

The panels should be held in by retaining clips and you should be able to pop the panel off by applying mild pressure to where the clips are. There are tools available at any auto parts store to aid in popping the panels off, if you wish to go that route. In the diagrams down below I have included the instructions from the vehicle manufacturer on the removal and installation of your vehicle's stereo's speakers. Please go through these guides and get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex

This is not for a two door hatch with side panel speakers. This is a side door rear or a rear window sedan speaker?

You need to remove the trim panel, here is how the job is done. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
