I am trying to replace my ignition coil the very first thing it says to do is to remove the lead by pressing down and pulling. I can not get this off, no one seems to have seen one like mine and I don't want to break it by doing it wrong.

I've posted a pic of another clip else where on the car. It looks just like this, only the white/gray thing is not there.

Squeeze the black tab right where the white clip might have been the push it down and pull it up.That's a very common GM car connector.

No problem looks like the connector that goes onto the ignition control module that is mounted to your coil assembly.
