I got everything loosened and only had the half shaft attached into the transmission. I tried to get it lose by pulling on the loose end of the half shaft. However, the half shaft came apart. I can send a picture if you provide an email address to send it to. I tried to use a wonder bar and smack it with a hammer, but it will not "pop" out of the transmission. Can you please, please provide directions and or photographs on how to remove it?

Can you use a long pry bar or extension and use it and hammer to tap the shaft from the back side is there enough room? They also make a slide hammer attachments one is fork that goes behind the axle. The other is a shackle clamp style that clamps to the axle joint.
