Removed secondary air pump

I removed the factory air filter and installed a cold air intake system, I was advised to remove the secondary air pump for a proper balance of the air/ gas ratio. If I remove that pump, what are my chances with that air/ fuel balance

The air fuel mixture is controlled by the oxygen/map/maf sensor inputs if you remove the secondary pump it should be able to calibrate and be okay. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
