I went and removed aftermarket remote start cuz I didnt have remote and now truck cranks and pops off but wont stay running and it ran before I removed the remote start. I've tried relearning the key n pass lock bypass n got nothing. So as far as I know everything is back to normal and everything works it just wont stay running after removal of remote start.

Hello, will the truck stay running if the gas pedal is kept depressed? Otherwise then yes you may be on the right track regarding the anti-theft fuel shut-off capability. I have also seen some retro-fitments leave harnesses unplugged that give reference to the engine harness side.

If you bought a new key for the truck, it will likely need to be programmed. Have you tried the stock programming solution for the truck?

Here is an example:

Key Chip Programming (Passlock):
Step 1: Insert the new key and attempt to start the engine; it will likely stall.
Step 2: Leave the key in the "ON" position (do not remove it) and observe the SECURITY light. It should stay on or flash.
Step 3: Wait 10 minutes until the security light goes off.
Step 4: Turn the ignition to "OFF" for 5-10 seconds.
Step 5: Repeat steps 1–4 two more times (total of 3 cycles/30 minutes).
Step 6: On the fourth attempt, the truck should start.

Key Fob Remote Programming:
If you are trying to program the keyless entry remote (fob), use this method:
Close all doors and insert the key.
Press and hold the UNLOCK button on the driver’s side door panel.
Turn the ignition ON, OFF, ON, OFF (do not crank the engine).
Release the UNLOCK button; the doors will lock and unlock.
Hold LOCK and UNLOCK on the fob simultaneously for 15-30 seconds until the doors cycle again.
Turn the ignition to ON to exit.

Okay, do you have a scan tool? There is a chance the scan tool will pick up on an electrical code relating to the fuel system or computer.
