How to remove kick panel driver side?

I need to remove the driver side kick panel on 2006 e350. The open hood lever/handle is in the way of my pulling the panel off. How do I get around that lever?

Hello,

I believe there are two screws holding it in place. You may have to remove them, so the handle is free.

Make sure all the trim fasteners are off. There is probably one right behind the handle or close to it. You may have to pull the handle open while trying to remove the trim as well.
