Where is the best to install a relay for trying to boost the remote turn on wire signal from head unit for a second amp?

I'm just wondering where about is the best to install a relay for trying to boost the remote turn on wire signal from head unit for a second amp? For example, closer to the head unit or closer to the first amp or between amp 1 and amp 2 or where? Cheers

The relay should be wired so the main power wire is the main circuit, you can have it anywhere that makes sense.
