I am putting a new clutch in my car and the person helping took the transmission out without me there, so I didn’t get to see how it would go back together. so I install the clutch pressure plate on the flywheel before I put the transmission in or do I install the clutch ect in the transmission and then bolt it up to the flywheel?

Good afternoon,

The disc and pressure plate are installed prior to installing the transmission.

I attached a picture of the clutch with the clutch aligning tool. You will need to install that when you are bolting the clutch to the flywheel. Once you have tightened the bolts on the pressure plate then you can install the transmission.

I attached the procedure below for you as well.
