Hi 2carPros, I drive the car listed above it is India made with K9K diesel engine from Renault. Recently I had to do a service of my AC as it was blowing hot minutes after moving the car. The repair shop used a Robinair recovery, vacuum, recharge system for R134a. After a twenty to twenty five minutes of full auto testing, the Robinair gave a printed report that showed- recovered 289 grams; vacuum 172 mBar for 299 sec; recharged 404 grams of R134a with 12 ml of oil; finally a okay also printed. With this, I am just wondering if there are any faults in the AC system in the car? My car's AC information says to be recharged with 0.4 Kg of R134a. After this work, the air from vents by the windows are cold, but from the center vent by the audio system, the air is not that cold. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

A loss of 100 grams is not a problem if it is over a long time, all systems will loose some refrigerant over time. The vacuum test is okay and the 404 grams is.4 of a KG. I would be looking at Bi level actuators or problem with the ducting rather than a problem with the A/C system itself.
