Refilling Freon in air conditioning

The Freon will come not go in.

Hi,

Is the A/C turned on high and the engine running when you do it? Are you using a reusable gauge that may not have punctured the top of the can?

Next, I need to know if the ac is working at all, if it just stopped, what type of system you are using to charge it and anything you can think of that may help me with a diagnosis.

First you need to make sure you are putting it in on the low pressure port not the high. Make sure the car is running. Make sure you have the right hose connector for the port. Make sure the button inside the head of the hose is there or the shrader valve wont open to let the gas in. Here is a guide to help:
