Cannot fully recharge the A/C

Most likely the issue is either the compressor does not have power or the compressor has failed. If the clutch doesn't engage on the front of the compressor then we need to check for power at the compressor to make sure the PCM is commanding it and the relays and fuses are okay and delivering voltage. If it is not doing this then we need to track that down.

If it is then the compressor is probably the issue. However, I would suggest starting with getting an actual gauge set that you can rent from a parts store that has a rental program and checking the high and low side pressures.

If the pressures are okay then we can move on but those gauges on the refill cans are not accurate enough to determine what the next steps are.

Okay. So when you hook up the recharge bottle, the gauge is in the red? Can you get a picture of what you are seeing?

Also, I think we are getting to the point we are going to need to rent a gauge set so we can see what the high and low side pressures are. Thanks
