Red security light stays on as soon as I reconnect the new battery?

It sounds like the IPM (integrated power module) has gone out which is common, here is a guide to help run the codes for the CAN system to confirm the issue:

Here is the location of the IPM and how to replace it which is easy because it self initiates. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response to any problems so we can see what to help you with.

It would need to be a CAN scanner and this problem can happen when you jump the car and get a voltage surge, which is what takes out the IPM.

Did you do the CAN scan? Also let's check all fuses, here is a guide to help and the fuse locations as well, please check them with the key on. If the fuses are good let's try a hard system reboot.
