I just bought it and now I have no gauges, no blinkers, and my headlights come on. The truck will start and run but the red light stays on constant.

It sounds like the IPM (integrated power module) has gone out which is common, here is a guide to help run the codes for the CAN system to confirm the issue:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/can-scan-controller-area-network-easy

Here is the location of the IPM and how to replace it which is easy because it self initiates. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response to any problems so we can see what to help you with.

It would need to be a CAN scanner and this problem can happen when you jump the car and get a voltage surge, which is what takes out the IPM.

What else could it be? I replaced the IPM and reset the computer but as soon as I reconnect the battery the same problem occurs. Solid red light on the dash and no gauges and a hand full of other things don't work.

Did you do the CAN scan? Also let's check all fuses, here is a guide to help and the fuse locations as well, please check them with the key on. If the fuses are good let's try a hard system reboot.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/step-by-step-guide-performing-a-hard-system-reboot-for-your-vehicles-electronics-systems

Please tell me what other systems are not working, you may have a ignition switch that got damaged. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

Thanks for the video, it happens, do you have power to fuse #22 in the IPM?

Please use this guide to confirm:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

Please let me know, also the CAN is a code scan for the entire truck not just the engine and drivetrain.

Yes, the ignition switch can cause this issue, here is a guide to help test for power through the switch while it is on:

Check out the images (below). Let us know what you find.
