Red security light on

I think I have a short. The red security light is on and nothing else works.

It sound like the battery is dead. Can you confirm the battery condition by leaving the headlights on for fifteen minutes. This guide can help.

Thanks, I got it taken care of the other day and forgot to post. It was the battery but it was weird because it was reading the voltage was good but it had zero cranking amps. But thanks for the response.
