Red dot flashes while driving

When I am driving the red dot flashes and then my instrument panel goes out. i cannot retrieve codes or anything else for that matter.

Is the red dot near a gauge or?

It's right above the gas gauge I do know that it has to do with the anti-theft & the key with a chip in it but not sure why its doing what it's doing or how to remedy the citation can it be a loose wiring or something like that ?

Does it have to do with the gas gauge like a low fuel warning? Does the light flash when you try to start the car?
