red cable near bonnet latch

My bonnet latch would not work so i was told to pull the cable attached if i needed to open it. unfortunately i did not know they meant the wire cable and ended up pulling a red wire loose. i am now worried to drive it until i know what the cable is just in case it is bad.

it sounds like you may have pulled positive battery cable off.
