I was wanting to know if I can change out the hinges on the rear window as you can see in the picture where I'm pointing to the hinges behind that. If so, would it be possible to get the name of the hinge so I can get the right one and where's a good place to go to get them? Or do I have to replace the whole window? Thank you very much for your time, I appreciate it so much. Hope you have a wonderful day.

They are called " liftgate window hinges" the best place to get them is the dealer. I don't know if the parts are obsolete or not so you will need to find out. Here is how to change them out in the images below. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

Okay, so I was wrong it's not the hinge itself it's the plastic piece that holds it together I put a couple images in so you can see. Does this mean I have to replace the whole window?

It is hard to tell what part is broken, is the piece you are talking about separated from the rear window? If so, they service that part included in the window, but you might be able to use the glue they make for rear view mirrors that stick to the windshield, check this out.

If you go to this website and look at the fifth picture on the top left and right, you'll see the hinges up there that's what's broken. So now showing that picture does that mean I have to replace the whole window, or do we go back to trying to glue that like you were talking about. Thank you again Ken I appreciate your time and advice hope you have a great day.

Hey Ken,

So here is a better picture of what I was trying to explain. The bracket that broke was the one in the picture that has the clamp attached to. I used JB Kwik weld just because that's what I had on hand. The broken piece was mostly a perfect fit back into place. I'm hoping this fix will work. But this way I hope the picture fills in any questions I wasn't able to answer.

Again I greatly appreciate all your help and time. Have a great day.

I see, if this doesn't work, I would clean the surfaces completely and use rear view mirror adhesive.
