My mother-in-law's car listed above has a bad rear wheel speed sensor or ABS whatever it's called. I can't find where it's located and how to change it. I just need a location on where to look and how much work to change it.

Hello,

The wheel speed or ABS sensor is located in the wheel hub.
I have attached a diagram below for your reference.

Let me know of any questions.

Thank you.

Do I need to remove anything from the cargo area to access the plug or is the connector underneath the car? I know on some vehicles are inside the trunk somewhere.

This will need to be accessed from under the vehicle. You will see the wire coming out of the back of the hub behind the wheel.
