Rear wheel grinding

When I make a left hand turn my right rear wheel makes a grinding noise when the car straightens out and I am going straight down the road the grinding stops.

check your wheel bearing on that side it is probably bad and in need of replacement.

If the wheel bearing on that side it is bad it will allow the drum to contact the backing plate causing the grinding noise you are describing.
