The mirror is discolored and it is very difficult to see. I need to know how to remove the mirror
and replace it with a new one. .

IF YOUR MIRROR DOES OTHER COOL STUFF, THERE ARE WIRES IN THE STEM COMING DOWN FROM THE CEILING

IF YOU'LL LOOK INTO THAT PUPPY AND GRIN REAL BIG AT YOURSELF, YOU WILL NOTICE JUST ABOVE THE MIRROR. ON THE STEM DOWN FROM THE CEILING. THERE'S A COVER THAT WILL SNAP OFF, TOWARDS YOU

INSIDE THE COVER IS A CONNECTOR.I USED 2 PAIR OF NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS TO DISCONNECT MY NEIGHBOR'S CONNECTOR

NOW IT'S FREE!

THE MIRROR'S POST/ PEDESTAL THAT ATTACHES TO THE WINDSHIELD IS SORTA A 1/4 TURN CAM

WHILE SITTING IN THE SEAT.A 1/4 TURN CLOCKWISE SHOULD "UNLOCK IT" THEN SORTA DO THE GENTLE WIGGLE THING TO REMOVE IT FROM THE BUTTON, WHICH SHOULD STILL BE GLUED TO THE WINDSHIELD

TO REINSTALL----PUSH IT ONTO THE BUTTON WITH THE MIRROR STANDING VERTICAL (THE ACTUAL TOP EDGE IS NOW POINTING TOWARDS THE PASSENGER SIDE)-- THEN A CCW 1/4 TURN WILL LOCK IT IN PLACE (NOW THE MIRROR WILL BE HORIZONTAL AGAIN---CONNECT THE WIRES--INSTALL THE COVER

STICK YOU WITH A FORK. YOU'RE DONE!

MY NEIGHBOR OBTAINED HIS ON EBAY---YOU MAY FIND ONE IN AN AUTO SALVAGE YARD--HE SAID A VW MIRROR WOULD FIT TOO

LEMME KNOW HOW IT GOES
