Where is the rear vehicle speed sensor located?

need to replace the rear VSS. where would I locate it and how would you rate the difficulty of going about it?

Hi,

I'm not familiar with a rear vehicle speed sensor (VSS). There is one at the rear of the transmission tail housing. See pic below. If that is what you are looking for, it will take about 20 minutes to replace.

Is that what you are looking for? On most of these vehicles, the VSS on the tail housing of the transmission is what is used as a wheel speed sensor. That is how the ABS/traction control is signaled.
