Kindly please explain to me why I needed new rears suspension struts and rear trailing arms with bushings? Do I also the same parts for the front or they only exist in the rear? In addition, are the front pads & disc rotors the same as the rear shoes & drums? Not sure why I needed these parts replaced as well. Got my car transmission fluid flush, brake fluid flush, power steering fluid flush and coolant drain/refill today for my car that's got 177000 miles.

Hello,

Um, I don't know. Who is telling you that these parts need to be changed. Could you explain a little more.

WELL

THIS STUFF COULD BE WORN OUT

THEN AGAIN, SOMEBODY MIGHT BE TAKING YOU FOR A RIDE!

'COURSE THIS RIDE PROBABLY MEANS YOU ARE BUYING THE GAS, AND BUYING THE MUNCHIES AT THE CONVENIENCE STORE!

I RECKON YOU ARE AT A SUPER DOOPER IN A JIFFY FIX MY POCKET BOOK LUBRICATION CENTER?

WELL (SECOND WELL)

YOU NEED A MECHANIC

LIKE YOUR HAIR STYLIST/ DENTIST/ DOCTOR. A TRUST-ABLE, EXPERIENCED AND TRUTHFUL FIGURE WHO DOES QUALITY WORK, AND DOES IT INEXPENSIVELY

THIS FELLER WOULD BE THE ONE YOU ALWAYS TURN TO WITH A VEHICLE ISSUE, ALL ISSUES, TO INCLUDE YOUR OIL CHANGES!

THIS JUMPING FROM PLACE TO PLACE, TO SAVE FIFTY CENTS, WILL EVENTUALLY BITE YOU.

FOR INSTANCE

HOW MUCH IS THE NEW OIL PAN GONNA COST TO BUY AND INSTALL WHEN GOOD OLE DOUGIE (FORMER BURGER FLIPPER FROM TWO WEEKS AGO) STRIPS OUT YOUR OIL PAN PLUG, OR FORGETS TO PUT OIL IN YOUR RIG?

TO CONTINUE PREACHING FOR A MOMENT

DID YOU KNOW THAT "YOU" OR YOUR ADVOCATE IS SUPPOSED TO CHECK YOUR OIL AND COOLANT LEVEL WEEKLY? SEE MR. OWNER'S MANUAL! IF THE "SDIAJFMPBLC" CHANGE'S YOUR OIL - I'VE SEEN 'EM WIPE THE FILTER CLEAN AND SEND IT OUT THE DOOR WHEN THEY WERE COVERED UP! IT'S ONLY RIGHT THAT YOU PULL THE DIPSTICK TO INSURE IT'S AT THE CORRECT LEVEL AND CLEAN. TO HECK WITH WHAT "THEY" THINK, IT'S YOUR VEHICLE.

BACK TO YOUR CURRENT ISSUE

WHAT "I" SUGGEST YOU DO IS GET A COMPETENT SECOND OPINION!

THE STEALERSHIP IS NOT THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN, SMALLER SHOPS CAN DO QUALITY WORK TOO!

THIS IS HOW TO FIND A SHOP

IN DOING SO, YOU MAY FIND THAT "PERSONALIZED" "KEEPER" MECHANIC, THIS SUGGESTION MIGHT WORK IN ANY TOWN OR CITY IN THE UNITED STATES

GO TO YOUR POPULAR AUTO PARTS STORES (MORE THAN ONE MIGHT MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER) ASK TO SPEAK TO THE "COMMERCIAL SALES MANAGER".

MOST LIKELY AS HE/ SHE HAS MADE IT THRU THE RANKS, HE HAS VISITED MANY OF THE LOCAL SHOPS AND HAS DELIVERED PARTS TO THEM FOR QUITE SOME TIME. JUST FROM SEEING THESE OPERATIONS, HE MOST LIKELY WILL KNOW WHO DOES GREAT WORK, IN A TIMELY MANNER, AND POSSIBLY AT WONDERFUL RATES.

STRIKE A CONVERSATION UP, NOT A QUICKIE QUESTION

YOUR KEY QUESTION TO ASK, JUST BEFORE YOU LEAVE IS: "WOULD YOU SEND YOUR MAMA THERE?"

IF YOU HAPPEN TO TRY ANOTHER STORE. SEE IF THE SAME NAME(S) COME UP

DO LET US KNOW YOUR OUTCOME

NUTHIN' WRONG WITH A SECOND/ THIRD/ FORTH OPINION!
