I hear a loud sound from left rear wheel or suspension like (krrrr krrr) very fast humming or clunking or clicking, i don't Know. Sometimes I do not hear on smooth road.

What to check?

Hi,

If you hear it over bumps, chances are it is the strut mounting plate that is bad or a failed stabilizer pin.

If you look at the picture below, I highlighted the two things I suspect. Oftentimes, the stabilizer link will actually break where it mounts or is simply loose.

As far as the strut mount is concerned, it is a little different. I always remove the weight off the wheel. Then, I grab the coil spring as close to the top as I can and pull back and forth to see if there is play. Keep in mind, a broken coil spring can also cause a clunk when hitting bumps.

Check these things and let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
