Okay, me too.
The answer is no. The only way they can shoot it down for inspection is if it is hitting the exhaust and causing smoke. It could catch fire if it is on the exhaust system. Other than that, you are good.

Just replaced my muffler and tailpipe.. There is nothing on it so I should be good..
