The outer handle snapped off while door was locked, child lock is engaged so door cannot be opened from the inside. Please help!

Rear passenger door will not open/child lock on/handle broken off?

Hi,
In over 30 years of working on vehicles, I've never had this happen. LOL Plus, there is nothing in the manual for the child safety lock. So, we need to check things.
The first thing I need you to do is remove the door panel. I attached the directions below. Note: The section of the manual where I found this info is called a door overhaul. I cut a lot of things off the end. All I need you to do is remove the door panel and send me some pics of the child lock assembly in the door. That way I can come up with a repair. Or you can unlock it from inside the door.
