Rear lift gate does not open?

Rear lift gate won’t open. It will unlock and pop open about an inch. Looked in the interior hole and the manual release still doesn’t make it open. I can make it close, and the motor will wind it down tight. All fuses are good not sure if I’m going to have to break it to get it open.

It sounds like the liftgate motor has gone out, but we should check the two fuses that run the system the first on is the L/GATE F2RA fuse in the rear fuse panel and the other is CAM LGM VPM F40DA fuse which is the fuse panel to the left of the steering column.
