Hi, I had both rear knuckle, upper arm and coil springs replaced. But after replacement of the parts, I notice that the rear vehicle height has risen some, but compared to when it had the old parts. For sure I know that the coil springs are not original, but it had the same number of coils on it. My query is that can it be only the coil springs that cause height to the car to increase, or can the rear knuckle also have a role to play in increasing the height? Should I put back the old coil spring and see if the height decreases?

Yes, the coil spring is responsible for the ride height only. Please check out the image below to make sure we are on the same page. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Yes, we on the same page items 5, 2 and 7 were replaced, after those 3 parts replacement that I notice the ride height increase. I have tried putting back the old coil spring but unfortunately the height has stayed the same!
Any suggestion?Any thing wrong I could have done during those 3 parts replacement?

After putting in the old springs I took the car for a drive I noticed the ride height came back to normal. I would like to know if the 2 lower bolts holding the knuckle (item 2) in the picture above, can it affect ride height or are the bolts only for wheel alignment?

Only if the part is incorrect. Did you match them up while doing the repair?

Yes, the parts match, but I notice the new coils spring are a bit stiffer than the old ones. I requested the owner to get original coil springs.
