rear blinker not working

driver rear indicator not working the left side is ok and indicator runs nice and slow the right thinks it is in a disco ive changed the bulb and still nothing ive been told it might be an shorting problem and track the wire back to the connector and run a wire from the indicator to the connector but not knowing which wire I'm reluctant to do this without help

Can you please check the front blinker to see if it is working, if the front bulb is out it will cause the rear bulb to blink fast.
