Rear hatch wiper and hatch sensor not working?

Hatch sensor stays on and wiper stopped working.

Hi,

The first thing to check is the fuse in the central junction box. The rear wiper fuse is number 43. If you look at pic 1, I highlighted both the fuse and the rear wiper relay.

First, check the fuse. In addition to checking the fuse, confirm there is power to it. Here is a link you may find helpful:

If the fuse is good and has power, then we need to check the relay. If there is a different relay in the box with the same part number, switch them to see if it makes a difference. If there isn't one to switch, here is a link that explains how to test one:

Pic 2 below shows the location of the central junction box.
