right rear wheel bows in at the top

Can it be a bad strut assembly?

Hi,

Chances are the struts are worn. These vehicles are known for rear sag caused by weak or worn coil springs in the strut assembly. When it happens, the wheels' camber is off. (tilt in the wheel)

Does the vehicle seem to sit lower in the rear than the front?

I attached a pic below showing the coil spring. The spring is part of the strut assembly. The pic is an exploded view, so I have an arrow pointing to where it belongs.

Check the coil springs to see if perhaps one is broken. Most commonly, if broken, it will happen near where they mount on the assembly.

Check that out and let me know what you find. If you look at the attached pic, it shows how to measure ride height. Do that and see if there is a difference.
